The Leff's Vipers became the first Milwaukee M.S.B.L. team
to win 3 consecutive titles, defeating the Marlins at Wisconsin Ave Park
by the score of 19-4. Lefty Randy Frank started and pitched the complete
game for the Vipers, and also had plenty of run support. The Vipers went
deep 3 times as C Steve (Skeeter) Schulte socked a second inning grand
slam, 1B Dan Weber belted a 3 run HR, and Mike Chapes added a solo shot.
The Vipers advanced to the finals by defeating McGinn's Muskies, while
the Marlins beat the Trysting Place Rangers.
