The Trysting Place Rangers advanced to the Milwaukee MSBL Finals with a come from behind 8-5 victory over McGinn's Muskies Sunday at Brietlow Field. After pitching the final 2 2/3 innings Saturday, Ranger righty Dan Trivett pitched the complete game Sunday, collecting 4 K's. The Rangers came back from a 4 run deficit, tying the game in the 6th inning with 2 runs on 5 consecutive base hits. In the decisive 7th the Rangers scored 3 runs on RBI hits by SS Scott Radtke, RF Pete Whalen and DH Gary Witthuhn. Radtke was 4-4 with 2 runs scored and 1 RBI, and Witthuhn was 3-4 with 3 RBI. Al Alt had 3 hits for the second consecutive game. |
