Rangers Finish Season On Good Note

The Trysting Place Rangers completed their regular season schedule Sunday at Wisconsin Ave Park with a 14-3 victory over McGinn's Muskies. The Rangers finished with a 19-2 win loss record, claiming the #1 seed for the upcoming playoffs. Dan Trivett pitched 8 strong innings, and went 4-4 at the plate with 3 runs scored and 1 RBI. Other hitting highlights include LF Jack Barron who went 3-4 with 1 run and 2 RBI. 1B Jeff Kovnesky socked a 2 run HR as one of his 2 hits, and picked up 3 RBI and 2 runs scored. Jeff also pitched a scoreless 9th. Leadoff hitter Pete Jaske was 3-5, RF Eric Rohde was 2-4 with 3 RBI and 1 run scored, and SS Scott Radtke was 2-3.
