In the two teams first meeting, the I.B.S. Reds knocked off the Trysting Place Rangers 8-6 Sunday at Wick Field. The Rangers, now 18-2, have lost 2 of their last 3 games. A 3 run, 7th inning HR by Reds 1B Ike Bradley was the turning point in the game. Reds starter Jeff Schweitzer pitched a complete game, and also collected 3 hits at the plate. For the Rangers, P Dan Trivett went 2-3 with 1 run scored and 2 RBI, and also pitched the complete game. 2B Terry Teske was 3-3 with 1 RBI. DH John Arnold was 2-3 with 1 run scored and 2 RBI, and SS Scott Radtke was 2-3 with 2 runs scored. The Rangers finish the regular season Sunday August 26 with a make up game against McGinn's Muskies at Wisconsin Ave Park at 1 PM. |
