Rangers Walk Past Orioles Despite being out hit 14-6, the Trysting Place Rangers were able to hang on to defeat the Kelly's Bleachers Orioles 11-9 Wednesday night at Wick Field. The Rangers improved to 14-0, while the Orioles dropped to 13-2. Neither team was sharp on defense, with 5 errors each. Bases on balls contributed to the Orioles downfall, as 3 of the Ranger runs scored in the 5th on 2 bases loaded walks and 1 hit batter. Hitting highlights for the Rangers include DH Terry Teske who was 2-3 with 2 runs scored and 3 RBI. CF Pete Jaske was 1-3 with 3 runs scored, and 1B Jeff Kovnesky was 1-3 with 2 runs scored. |
