Braves
The Trysting Place Rangers defeated the Braves
by the score of 23-3 Sunday at Wisconsin Ave Park. Hitting highlights for
the Rangers include LF DJ Haas with 3 hits and 5 RBI, C Mike Butterfield
who belted a 2 run HR and finished with 4 RBI. DH Terry Teske was 3-4 including
a 2 run HR. 2B Pete Whalen was 3-4 with 3 runs scored and an RBI, and Gary
Witthuhn scored 3 runs and knocked in 2. On defense, the Rangers turned
2 double plays, and Haas made a great catch in left field foul territory
to end the game.
