Starting pitcher Al Alt went 6 innings, allowing 3 runs, and striking out 7 batters. Dan Trivett pitched a scoreless 7th. Hitting highlights include John Arnold who was 5-5 (triple, single, 3 doubles) with 5 RBI and 2 runs scored. 2B Terry Teske scored 3 runs and drove in 4. C Tom Cavey was 4-4, and 1B Jeff Kovnesky went 4-5. |
