Ranger starting pitcher Dan Trivett allowed 2 runs in 7 innings, and John Arnold shut down the Marlins the final 2 innings. The Ranger pitching duo combined for 11 strikeouts. DH John Bergner led the Ranger hitting attack going 4-4 with 3 RBI, 2 runs scored, and 2 stolen bases. The Ranger defense played errorless ball, including a diving catch of a fly ball in shallow left field by DJ Haas. |
