| The Trysting Place Rangers defeated the McGinn's Muskies 9-4 Sunday at Wisconsin Ave. Park. Ranger starting pitcher Dan Trivett ran into some early trouble, allowing a 3 run HR in the 1st inning to Muskie 1B Rolison, before settling into a groove. The only other run the Muskies could score was an unearned run in the 6th. John Arnold pitched a scoreless 7th and 8th to notch the save. Hitting highlights for the Rangers included 3B Al Alt and 1B Jeff Kovnesky with solo HR's, and Eric Rohde with a 2 run HR. CF Pete Jaske scored 3 runs. Defensively, the Rangers turned 2 double plays, and LF Jack Barron gunned down 2 Muskie baserunners. |
