League Championship
Leff's Vipers 11
Trysting Place Rangers 7

The Leff's Vipers won their second consecutive Milwaukee MSBL Championship Sunday, beating the Trysting Place Rangers at Simmons Field by the score of 11-7. The Rangers struck early, scoring two in the first. 1B Jeff Kovnesky, and 3B Al Alt both ripped RBI doubles, but the Vipers answered with 3 in their 1st, and 2 in the second. Gary Witthuhn's single in the fifth scored Tom Cavey, who had doubled, and once again the Vipers answered with three runs. In the 8th, the Rangers scored 2 more, but it was not enough to overtake the Vipers, who beat the Rangers in the Finals for the second straight year. Ray Gallow picked up the pitching victory for the Vipers, who advanced to the final with a win over the Marlins.
For the Rangers, SS Terry Teske was 3-4 with 3 runs scored, Al Alt collected 2 hits, and John Arnold pitched a complete game.
