RANGERS REBOUND, BEAT BRAVES
 
The Trysting Place Rangers ended their 2 game slide with a convincing 21-1 win over the Braves, increasing their division leading mark to 11-3. Starting pitcher John Arnold went the distance for his first complete game of the season. The Ranger offense was back in gear as the team collected 20 hits, including 2 hits each by 8 different players. Arnold and SS Terry Teske each drove in 3 RBIs. 3B Al Alt and RF Pete Whalen each scored 3 runs, and DH John Bergner ripped an RBI triple.

The Rangers played their 2nd consecutive errorless game, and turned two double plays, including a game ending 3-6-3.
