RANGERS FALL TO VIPERS 17-5
despite loss lead division with 10-2 record

In a rematch of the 1998 Milwaukee MSBL championship game, the Leff's Vipers once again defeated the Trysting Place Rangers, ending the Rangers current 8 game winning streak. The Vipers scored early and often, building a 10 run lead after 3 innings. Viper SS Steve Brody and DH Greg Peck led the barrage, as each player hit a 3 run HR and tallied 7 RBI. Brody was 5-5 for the game. The Rangers were held to 1 run until the eighth, when Gary Witthuhn and Dave Globig hit RBI singles. RF John Bergner added a 2 run single to finish the Ranger scoring. Next up for the Rangers is a Sunday 11 AM contest vs. the Yankees at Burnham Park. Hope to see you there!!!
