RANGERS WIN 7TH IN A ROW 
 The Trysting Place Rangers defeated the Muskies Sunday night, earning a split in the season series, and claiming a 2 game lead in the division standings. The Rangers (now 9-1), got a solid 5 1/3 inning start from pitcher Gary Witthuhn, and with relief help from John Arnold held the Muskies to 7 runs. The Rangers jumped out to a quick 4 run lead, matching it with another 4 runs in the fifth inning. RF Pete Whalen collected 2 doubles, and scored 2 runs. SS Terry Teske also rapped out 2 hits, and scored an important insurance run on a Jeff Kovnesky sacrifice fly.
